Hoke County deputy involved in accident with motorcycle

RAEFORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Hoke County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a deputy was involved in a wreck with a motorcycle Saturday evening.

Our crew on the scene said the deputy was pulling out onto Galatia Church Road after looking both ways. That's when the motorcycle slammed into him.

The deputy wasn't injured but the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive.
