Pedestrian dies after crash
A pedestrian struck in Fayetteville has died

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police said the 59-year-old pedestrian that was struck on Cedar Creek Road on Wednesday night has died as a result of his injuries.

Police said it happened on Cedar Creek Road near Troy Drive.

Jerome Jordan Walker, of Dobbin Holmes Road, was taken to the hospital for surgery after the collision. He died Thursday.

Officers charged the driver of the 2003 Ford involved in the crash, 26-year-old Danny Ross McNeill with driving while license is revoked.
