Cary police seek purple gloved robber

CARY, NC (WTVD) -- The Cary Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a convenience store while wearing distinctive purple gloves.

It happened around 9 p.m. April 1 at High House Food Market in the 800 block of Old Apex Road.

Detectives said the white male came into the store with a knife in his left hand and jumped over the sales counter before taking money.

Nobody was hurt.

He was wearing black pants and a hooded black coat with gray mesh on the shoulders. His head and mouth were covered.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Town of Cary Police Department at (919) 469-4012 or file a report anonymously with Cary Crime Stoppers at (919) 460-4636.
