Expectant mother sees holy symbol on ultrasound

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WTVD) -- A pregnant woman said she got a sign from above in the middle of a prenatal checkup at her doctor's office.

The ultrasound photo is going viral, as it appears to show an image of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. At least, that's what Aley Meyer thought.

Meyer said she didn't even notice it until about a week after the appointment, when someone pointed it out to her at her baby shower.

"I've been on a lot of medicine for my Crohn's Disease, and we've been very worried about it," said Meyer, who is expecting her first child. "So I feel like it's a sign that everything is going to be okay with him."

The baby is due in June.
