Suspect sought in Fayetteville restaurant armed robbery
Authorities are trying to identify a suspect seen in surveillance video during an armed robbery in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police in Fayetteville are trying to identify a man seen on surveillance video during an armed robbery at a Little Caesars Pizza restaurant.

It happened on Saturday around 9:45 p.m. at the Little Caesars in the 3400 block of Bragg Boulevard.

According to authorities, a man entered the restaurant and then approached the cash register with a note stating he had a gun and demanded cash from the register.

After getting an undisclosed amount of money, police said the man ran to a waiting small blue car, possibly a hatchback.

The suspect was described as an African American man in his mid-thirties, with a medium build, and standing about 5'10" to 6' tall.

He was last seen wearing dark clothing, a Golden State Warriors hat, and brightly colored shoes. The suspect was also seen with a pink cloth over his right hand during the robbery.
