LOS ANGELES -- The driver who led authorities on a bizarre chase through Hollywood in a Mustang convertible last month is behind bars again for an alleged road rage incident.

On surveillance video, a motorcycle rider is shown using the front wheel to push a man backward down a street on the UCLA campus. Suddenly the person hits the gas and the victim, spinning him around and knocking him to the ground.

The incident happened on April 16. Campus police said the suspect, who was riding a Suzuki, ran into an SUV. When the victim tried to call police, the rider allegedly tried to take the victim's phone before a confrontation broke out.

Police arrested the suspect, 20-year-old Herschel Reynolds, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor hit-and-run. Reynolds is no stranger to run-ins with the law.

Authorities confirmed the former Marine is the same man who led police on a wild chase that went viral, dubbed by some as the "most Los Angeles chase of all time" on April 7. Reynolds, along with a passenger, raced through the rain with the top down in a rented Mustang convertible, authorities said.

At points, Reynolds did donuts on city streets, weaved in and out of heavy traffic and nearly hit a TMZ bus on the 101 Freeway. The car hit a spike strip, and after a chase over freeways and residential streets, Reynolds and his passenger stopped in front of a South Los Angeles home and waited for police to arrive.

Authorities said Reynolds was taken into custody without incident at his south Los Angeles home on Saturday for the suspected road rage incident.
