Man injured by falling gas tank in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A Durham man was hurt by a falling nitrogen gas tank overnight.

It happened when a tank tipped over at Airgas National Welders off Industry Drive, near Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy and Fayetteville Road.

Paramedics were seen putting a person in an ambulance, but their condition was unknown.

Images from the scene also appeared to show gas leaking out of the tank.

Details surrounding the accident have not been released.
