RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating a shooting in the 110 block of Hill Street and E. Jones Street.

Authorities said they received a 911 call just before 6 a.m. about a 30-year-old man who had been shot twice in his legs.

Clinta Mason was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said there are no suspects at this time, but that they did find several bullet casings at the scene.

"It has been a lot of shootings in Raleigh right now but there's nothing I really can do about it," Raleigh resident Kenneth Best said. "It's sad but unfortunately it's the reality of life."

"I hope that the shootings just stop, stop the shootings please, please," Raleigh resident Jacqueline Carter said. "I think everybody need to come together and try to stop this violence and all the stuff that goes on."
