Moms who eat at Texas Steakhouse and Saloon on Mother's Day also get a certificate for a free entree on their next visit.
Ruth Chris's Steakhouse is handing moms who dine with them on Sunday a $25 gift card for a future visit.
Hooters is also celebrating moms with a free meal with the purchase of a drink.
You can snag a free appetizer or dessert with the purchase of 2 entrees at Olive Garden by joining their e-club.
The Olive Garden is also offering a $10 bonus for every $50 gift card bought through May 15.
Shoney's will throw in a free slice of strawberry pie with the purchase of a Mother's Day Buffet.
And, National Public Gardens day is May 6.
Many of the free activities and events will go on throughout Mother's Day weekend at botanical gardens, arboretums, and conservatories across the country including JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, The NC Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill, and Cape Fear Botanical Garden in Fayetteville.
