We blurred the victim's father's face to protect her identity. The father told the judge that his daughter recently moved back to Durham and will start working.

He said she doesn't want to run into White in public. White is out of jail on a $6,000 bond.

The prosecutor asked the judge to set a geographic restriction on where White can travel in Durham. He also asked that White be placed under house arrest with an electronic monitor.

The victim's father says the alleged abuse has traumatized his family.

"My daughter has been working on healing. This has required great sacrifice on my family," the victim's father stated in court. "I have had to live separate from my family for a year to ensure a fresh start for my daughter. I have concerns for any young persons that this individual may be able to encounter. She is a practiced predator."

White was a dance teacher at Jordan High School. She is married. In 2014, she was arrested and charged with taking indecent liberties and sex offense with a student.
