Bears interrupt triathlon

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (WTVD) -- Runners at a triathlon race in Alaska suddenly had to compete with a mother bear and her cubs.

A group was approaching the finish when the bears shot across the course.

The cubs even began wandering up to the runners. With mom close by, there was concern she might get aggressive, but everyone stayed calm and the bears finally sauntered off.
