1 person hurt when shots fired into Fayetteville home

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Shots were fired into a Fayetteville home Friday night, leaving one person injured.

It happened in the 800 block of Varsity Drive.

One person was hit by several rounds and taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The victim's name and condition have not been released.

Police are investigating.
