Texas family shelters under overpass from tornado

BIG SPRING, Texas (WTVD) -- A family in western Texas took cover under a highway overpass Sunday when a tornado's funnel cloud formed right in front of them.

Abraham Gonzalez, his wife, and their 10-year-old daughter were on their way home from a softball tournament when it happened. Gonzalez took pictures of the storm with his phone.

The high wind and hail forced them to take cover.

The family watched the tornado for about 10 minutes before they said it disappeared.
