Father, son killed in jet ski accident in Sunset Beach

SUNSET BEACH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A father and son on vacation from Georgia were killed while riding a jet ski in Sunset Beach, N.C.

The Brunswick County coroner said John Wernowsky, 51, and his 10-year-old son Jake, were on a jet ski when it hit the fishing pier at the Wildlife Resource Commission Boat Ramp, reported WWAY.

Two people on a nearby jet ski were also hurt.
