RALEIGH (WTVD) -- One person was killed in a crash in Raleigh early Sunday morning.

Police said 48-year-old Tracey Chapell Curtner, of Raleigh, exited I-495 eastbound onto New Hope Road around 1:20 a.m. when she drove off the ramp.

Curtner was ejected from the Chevrolet she was driving after the vehicle struck a ditch and several trees.

Curtner died as a result of her injuries.

Police are not sure if alcohol or drugs were involved. The crash investigation remains underway.
