FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) --An ABC11 eyewitness spotted a black bear hanging out in a tree outside of his Electra Road home on Sunday.
Supon Keree's thanks his dog for the overnight discovery. He said they barked until he woke up and found the bear in his backyard tree.
"I'm sure he's probably hungry, thirsty, and probably tired," Keree said.
A Cumberland County official told ABC11 the bear looked scared and was not coming out of the tree.

The deputy recommended neighbors go back inside and leave the bear alone.
North Carolina wildlife officials said the bear poses no threat to humans or pets as long as it's not provoked. Officials said when male bears reach a certain age it's natural for them to roam to find their own territory.
The bear will eventually come down, like overnight, according to wildlife officers.
