Must-see video: Lion loses tail at zoo

OREGON (WTVD) -- The king of the pride at the Oregon Zoo has lost part of his tail.

A zookeeper at the zoo accidentally closed a cage door trapping a lion's tail during a zoo training session.

The session was stopped when visitors noticed the lion's tail was bleeding.

The male lion is expected to make a full recovery from what the zoo describes as a minor injury.
