Dad seen chasing stolen vehicle with two kids inside

CALIFORNIA (WTVD) -- A frightening incident was caught on video this week when a father stopped at a convenience store.

The California dad was seen in surveillance video chasing after his stolen Nissan Rogue that had his two young kids inside.

Authorities said the father had gone inside the convenience store to buy an energy drink when a woman climbed behind-the-wheel and took off.

Officers arrested her about 10 minutes later after the frantic dad asked witnesses nearby to call 911.

Both kids were reunited with their dad and weren't hurt.
