Tour de Fat back in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- It was a day for beer and bike in the Bull City as the Tour de Fat was back Saturday.

The traveling event is put on by New Belgium Brewing and celebrates all things bicycle. People came out to Diamond View Park for a day of fun including music, a costumed bike ride, and beer.

New Belgium was also offering more than $2,200 to buy a new commuter bike for someone willing to give up their car.

The event was free, but donations from beer and merchandise sales will go to Durham-area non-profits.
