Three people were taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after a crash on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh, authorities said.

Officials said a Prius and a motorcycle collided around 5:30 a.m. on Wake Forest Road, near Ronald Drive.

Kevin James Mickens, 39, was driving his three-wheel motorcycle south on Wake Forest Road with his passenger, 20-year-old Tyieyana Destiny Kennedy. Police said Mickens attempted to make a left turn and cut off 87-year-old Isham Hudson, who was driving the Prius.

All three were taken to WakeMed after the collision. Police said Mickens sustained the most serious injuries of the three.

The crash remains under investigation, but no charges have been filed.
