CHICAGO -- A barricade situation in two homes on the Southeast Side is over and police say one person is in custody being questioned Sunday.

Police responded to the calls of shots fired around 3:30 a.m. at 103rd and Avenue N and when they arrived more shots were fired at responding officers.

The suspects ran into a nearby house and barricaded themselves inside.

Six people then exited the homes and four people were placed in handcuffs as a precaution. Police say they were only being questioned and then released.

Around 9 a.m., police SWAT teams have moved and cleared both of the homes and one person is being questioned.

No injuries have been reported.
