Log truck overturns on I-440 westbound near Cary

CARY, NC (WTVD) -- A log truck flipped over on I-440 westbound on the I-40 exit ramp close to Cary Monday morning. The exit from I-40 was temporarily closed along with the on-ramp to I-40.

Pictures from Chopper 11 HD showed the truck on its side and logs spilled across the road.

Workers used a front-end loader to scoop up the logs. A large wrecker pulled the truck upright.

The road reopened shortly before noon.
