Accident causes backups on NC-98 in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A single vehicle made a mess of the morning commute for drivers on NC-98 in Durham Tuesday.

A vehicle struck a power pole, knocking down lines onto three of the four lanes of Holloway Street near Clayton Road.

It was unclear what caused the accident and if anyone was injured.

Several Duke Energy trucks were at the scene around 6 a.m. to repair the mess.
