Windows shot out at Durham school

DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Durham Police Department is investigating after someone shot out windows at Burton Elementary School on Mathison Street.

According to police, a BB or pellet gun was used to shoot 14 windows on all sides of the building.

Investigators said it likely happened between 8 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

School doesn't start back until August 25, and no one was hurt.
