The Moore County Sheriff's Office has arrested a suspect in connection with a murder Thursday morning.

Moore County Sheriff Neil Godfrey said a murder warrant was issued for 27-year-old Antonio Deshawn Robinson and deputies took him into custody while he was at a relatives home a short time later.

Earlier in the day, investigators said Robinson went to a home where Robert Dewey Powell was staying - in the 200 block of Sandpit Park Drive - and shot him to death.
