Carnival raising funds for Orange Co. senior programs

If you're looking for something to do with your kids this weekend you should check out a carnival going on in Hillsborough. It's called The Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer Carnival, and it's a fundraiser for programs at the senior centers in Orange County.

The event will feature a local celebrity dunking booth, side shows, live performance and games for all ages.

Money raised at the carnival benefits Friends of the Jerry M. Passmore Center in Hillsborough and Friends of the Robert and Pearl Seymour Center in Chapel Hill for programs and services at those senior centers.

The Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer Carnival is Saturday, July 30 from 1pm to 5pm at the Jerry M. Passmore Center, 103 Meadowlands Drive in Hillsbrough. Admission is $6 for adults and teens, $3 for 12 and under.
