RALEIGH (WTVD) -- People in southeast Raleigh got a chance to come together Saturday and help their community in the annual "Community Empowerment" fair in Chavis Park.
Dozens of vendors handed out information about housing, food programs, health and wellness, business development, and transportation.
This year there was also a focus on the upcoming November election and informing voters about their choices.
People were able to register to vote and learn more about the Wake County transit plan that will be on the ballot.
