Loved ones to bid farewell as Fort Bragg soldiers deploy
Fort Bragg soldiers deploying to Kuwait Wednesday

FORT BRAGG -- Families say goodbye to their loved ones as they prepare to leave Fort Bragg for Kuwait.

Fort Bragg soldiers will say goodbye to their families Wednesday and head to the Middle East to join the fight against ISIS.

About 450 soldiers from the 18th Airborne Corps will deploy to Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.

The soldiers will lead a coalition of more than 60 countries working in Iraq to defeat ISIS.

The soldiers will say their goodbyes to their families starting at 2:30 p.m. on base and will depart at 3:30 p.m.
