CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Back to school shopping for a buck, that's what Cary's Thrift 2 Gift store is all about during Dollar Days August 16-18.
Nearly all clothing in the 20 thousand square foot thrift store is a dollar along with shoes, backpacks, computer bags, and lunch bags.
"So, we have a lot of back to school supplies, notebooks, liners, most are a dollar," explained George King, Founder of Thrift 2 Gift.
"We find especially in the summer going into the school year it's great for a family that has kids to come in and buy all the clothes," King said.
A large portion of the proceeds from the 3-day sale will benefit the non-profit, Western Wake Younglife.
Thrift 2 Gift will hold extended hours for the sale and the new Garner store will also take part.
