GoFundMe aims to help get crash victim's body to family

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- An online fundraising campaign has been started to help return the body of a crash victim to her family in Mexico.

Paola Bautista of Benson was one of three people killed after a car carrying seven people crashed about 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning near the intersection of Highwoods Boulevard and Poplarwood Court in Raleigh.

Bautista was 22. Also killed were Nelson Darinel Velazquez, 21, of Dudley and Tomas Rivera Jr., 18, of Newton Grove.

Three others were injured.

The driver, Jaciel Espino-Montes, 22, of Goldsboro was charged with three counts of aggravated felony death by motor vehicle, three counts of aggravated serious injury by motor vehicle, and driving while impaired.
