Expect great food at Raleigh's La Fiesta del Pueblo festival

La Fiesta del Pueblo is a festival of food, music and arts to celebrate Latin culture in the Triangle.

The festival is organized by El Pueblo, a local non-profit, and is set to kick off Sunday, September 25.

Here's a look at the various food vendors that will be serving up a variety of Latino foods and some of what you can expect to find.

L'Arepa

Type of food: Venezuelan

Some of the things they serve: Meat and vegetable arepas. Arepas are round flattened corn-flour cakes often served with either meat and/or vegetables and cheese on top.

Kona Ice

Some of the things they serve: A shaved ice food truck where you get to pick and then pour your own flavored syrup into the ice.
