Womack Army Medical Center debuts newly-renovated mother-baby unit

FORT BRAGG (WTVD) -- Moms giving birth at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg now have a special place to welcome their new addition to the family.

On Tuesday, the hospital held a ribbon cutting on its newly-renovated mother-baby unit.

Each room now comes with a private bathroom, a sleep chair for dads and a 40-inch television.

Other amenities include a new patient lounge and lactation consultations on staff seven days a week.
