Cam Newton food truck debuts ahead of 49ers game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is into more than just sports - he now has his own food truck.

The food truck is called "Smokn' Aces," and it rolled up to Panthers practice this week so the players could get the first taste.

Head Coach Ron Rivera picked up the tab for the entire team. The players and coaches raved about the food, especially the po'boys.

The food truck officially opens Sunday when the Panthers take on the 49ers in their home opener at Bank of America Stadium.

Proceeds from the first week will go towards a program for at-risk individuals in Charlotte.
