Where to save on flu shots

You have seen the signs at the drug store and the pharmacy.

It's flu shot season and while stores offer incentives, you can get most likely get it free.

First, check with your employer. They may offer free flu shots to you and your family. After all, it's in their best interest to keep you healthy so you can be at work!

Head to your doctor's office. Most health plans must cover a set of preventive services and the flu shot is part of that list.

Check wholesale clubs. If you have to pay for a flu shot, the best prices we found were at Costco for $14.99 and at Sam's Club for $15. But, you have to be a member for the service.

The price is $31.99 for the seasonal flu shot at Walgreen's.

Over at CVS, you will pay more for the flu shot at $39.99, but you get a 20 percent off coupon to use in store.
