Friday was the first day the toys went on sale

It almost looked like something you'd see on Black Friday when about two dozen Star Wars fans lined up outside the Toys"R"Us in Cary to get their hands on the newest toys related to the franchise.

Friday was the first day Disney sold products for the "Rogue One" movie.

Rogue One is set before the first Star Wars movie, Episode Four, released in 1977.

Friday also kicks off the hashtag #GOROGUE contest. Fans can submit a two-minute video with skits set in a galaxy far, far away.

Winners will see an advance screening of the new movie which hits theaters on December 16.

Disney is the parent company of ABC11.
