Run-Walk raises money for autism society of NC
Triangle Run/Walk for Autism in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- As many as 1 in 59 children may be diagnosed with autism in North Carolina. On Saturday, October 8 you can help make a difference in the lives of those living with autism by taking part in the 18th Annual Triangle Run-Walk for Autism. Proceeds from the run-walk will fund local programs for the Autism Society of North Carolina.

This year's event will be in a new location: Halifax Mall, at 300 N. Salisbury St., in downtown Raleigh. The 5K competitive race starts at 9 a.m., the 5K non-competitive race starts at 9:20 a.m., the 1-mile fun run starts at 9:40 a.m. and the kid's dash starts at 10:40 a.m.
