Fire departments from several counties rushed to Carthage Tuesday morning to battle a large blaze in an old tobacco building.

It happened on East Barrett Street between North McNeill Street and Rockingham Street Extension.

Pictures from Chopper 11 showed that there was little left but the walls of the multi-story brick building, which was reportedly being used to store antiques.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
