Crews battle Roxboro apartment fire

ROXBORO, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Emergency crews battled an apartment fire in Roxboro Friday afternoon.

Chopper 11 HD saw smoke billowing from the Heritage Circle Apartments on Person Court.

Chris Robinson with the Roxboro Fire Department said four units in the building caught fire. Three of the those four units had fire damage; the other had only smoke damage.

Three of the four apartments were occupied, though it was unclear how many people were inside. No one was injured, Robinson confirmed.

Fire officials are still working to determine what caused the fire.
