Raleigh teachers appear on Rachael Ray Show
The Bugg Elementary School teachers appealed to Rachael Ray for eating advice -- and got answers!

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Some Wake County school teachers were on the Rachael Ray Show on Monday - and their students are delighted.

One of the teachers reached out to Ray for help, and couldn't believe when she answered her.

Bugg Elementary School kindergarten teacher Sonya Mitchiner was watching the Rachael Ray show last summer when she decided to write Ray for advice on eating healthier amid the constant stream of snacks, cakes and sodas typically found in a classroom throughout the school year.

She forgot about it, until one day, Ray's nutritionist Kerri Glassman showed up at Mitchiner's classroom door.

Glassman came armed with nutritional tips and delicious, healthy meal challenges to get Mitchiner and her fellow teachers eating and snacking right.

Now, their students are anxious to see the positive effects of the teachers' new-found good habits. Watch the video report to see more.
