FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) --One person is dead after a CSX train and an SUV collided in downtown Fayetteville early Sunday morning.
It happened on Hay Street at Winslow Street.

The driver was identified as 51-year-old William Jacobs of Maxton. Authorities identified the three passengers as 50-year-old Amelia Chavis, of Pembroke, 50-year-old Penny Creech, of Pembroke, and 50-year-old Christopher Locklear, of Greensboro.
Creech and Chavis were able to escape the car. Locklear and Jacobs were not.
