Gas leak blocks S. Saunders Street in both directions near I-40 in Wake County

WAKE COUNTY, North Carolina (WTVD) -- South Saunders Street was blocked in both directions Thursday afternoon near I-40 because of a gas leak.

Crews made repairs and had the road reopened by 3:30 p.m.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area while crews worked to cap the leak.
