Armed robbery reported at Durham hotel

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating an armed robbery at a hotel early Sunday morning.

The robbery happened at the Extended Stay on South Miami Boulevard shortly after 3 a.m.

Police said a man with a gun approached the victim and demanded money, forcing the victim to walk to a hotel room.

Authorities are still searching for a suspect.

No one was hurt.
