NC State police searching for susoect who grabbed woman on campus
North Carolina State University police are on the lookout for a man who reportedly grabbed a woman on campus over the weekend.

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- North Carolina State University police are on the lookout for a man who reportedly grabbed a woman on campus over the weekend.

It happened Sunday afternoon at Fort Fisher Hall, off Avent Ferry Road.

Investigators said the victim heard a knock on her door, but didn't see anyone when she looked out the peep hole. She then opened the door so see someone running away and thought it was a prank.

Later, there was another knock and the woman opened the door without looking thinking it was a prankster.

He "forced his way into the room," said from Maj. David Kelly with NCSU Police.

Authorities said the suspect grabbed the woman, then let go and ran away when the victim yelled for help.

Officers are asking anyone who sees the suspect to call university police.

Officials are also warning that it's important to remember to keep doors and windows locked, and trust your instincts.
