Cedar Creek Road in Fayetteville reopens after gas leak

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Cedar Creek Road in between I-95 and downtown Fayetteville was closed to all thru-traffic for several hours after a Thursday morning gas leak.

Construction workers hit a 4-inch gas line near the Bureau Drive intersection.

Piedmont Natural Gas successfully capped the leak and the road reopened just after 1 p.m.
