Pedestrian struck on Capital Boulevard
Raw video from Chopper 11 HD over Capital Boulevard where two lanes were closed after a pedestrian was struck.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A man was struck while crossing the road on Capital Boulevard near New Hope Road on Monday afternoon.

It happened about 3:15 p.m. Raleigh Police said the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when he tried to cross the street and was struck by a vehicle.

The victim appeared to suffer a minor leg injury, police said.

Police have blocked off a couple of northbound lanes.
