Double fatal crash on I-95 in Wilson

WILSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a crash on I-95 that killed two people Friday night. It happened near mile marker 116 in Wilson.

A trooper told ABC11 a vehicle somehow went off the road and then crashed into a bridge.

Two people were killed at the scene including the driver. Another passenger had to be airlifted to Vidant Medical Center. That person is listed in critical condition.
