Guns, computers, game consoles stolen from Raleigh homes
A string of burglaries have been reported in a Raleigh neighborhood and police are searching for the culprits.

RALEIGH, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A string of burglaries have been reported in a Raleigh neighborhood and police are searching for the culprits.

On Sunday, Raleigh Police officers continued their search for the suspect(s) behind this string of break-ins in Raleigh's historic South Park neighborhood, which is just outside on downtown Raleigh.

The reports show the burglaries happened on May 15 and May 17.

The crimes were reported at the following locations:

  • May 15 - 300 block of Worth Street. The victim reported a stolen laptop.
  • May 15 - 400 block of Worth Street. The victims reported multiple guns stolen from the home.
  • May 17 - 300 block of Bledsoe Avenue. The victim reported a stolen watch and an XBox One console.
  • May 17 - 400 block of Top Greene Lane. The victim reported a laptop and an airsoft gun were stolen from the home.

Police reports show the crooks got away with laptops, video games, and guns, with some items worth more than $1,000.

Neighbors ABC11 spoke with agreed that everyone can play a part in improving the safety and well-being of the community.

"If you see anything suspicious, call," resident Melvin Duff asserted. "That's what I would do. If I see someone I don't know going by a lot, I'd say something to somebody."
