It happened about 9:45 p.m. outside the Bahama Breeze restaurant at 3309 Wake Forest Road.

Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots.

"We were sitting and we had finished eating dinner," said Linda Graham, an eyewitness. "And we heard like maybe five to 10 shots, could have been more. And we were looking out, trying to see what was going on, and we saw people running in the parking lot, so they were scattering.

"And then we saw a couple of guys, one running in one direction and the other running in another direction," Graham added.

Graham said she and her party decided to leave the restaurant, and when they went outside, they"walked over to where the ambulance was, and we saw a body on the ground."

The parking lot of the restaurant was roped off with crime scene tape. Many patrons were unable to leave with their vehicles because of the police investigation.

Police have not confirmed any injuries or fatalities or any information about possible suspects.
