Suspicious death investigation underway in Orange County

CARRBORO, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found in Carrboro Monday morning.

Officers were called to the 400 block of Roberson Street just after 7:30 a.m., when the unidentified body was discovered at the UNC Center for Development and Learning.

Authorities say there is no threat to the public, but access to the area was restricted.

The investigation is still underway.
