Crash on I-40 west causes congestion

GARNER, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A serious accident on I-40 West in Wake County caused traffic delays on Sunday.

Officials said that the accident happened around 1:20 p.m.

The lane was reopened around 3:30 p.m.

Police have not released information about what caused the crash.
